The interlibrary loan is a service that allows you to obtain books or other resources not owned by Sapienza libraries from Italian or foreign libraries for personal use or study. Books must be collected from a Sapienza library and returned within the given deadlines.

Is interlibrary loan free or charged?

For institutional users, interlibrary loan is free of charge if the books are owned by libraries with which agreements and/or conventions have been stipulated. In other cases, postal charges must be reimbursed.
