E-journals and e-books: except for some e-resources available only in specific libraries, you may use the Discovery (above) to search these collections. To access e-resources outside the LAN, please use EasyBixy (proxy service).
If you are logged in the catalogue, once found the desired item you may use the “Borrowing request” function. Since some collections may be stored off-site, you may use this function to request the desired item and pick it up at library desk.
Usually, items may be borrowed for 15 days. Special and reference materials do not circulate. More details are available at your library.
Inter-library loan (ILL) and Document delivery (DD)
If an item is owned by an Italian or foreign library, you may ask your library for an inter-library loan (fees may be applicable).
Library staff is available for quick information and reference service. Furthermore, information literacy classes (in Italian) are held by libraries. Ask your library for details.
Photocopying and reproduction are allowed under the respect of Italian legislation. Photocopiers and scanners are available in most Sapienza libraries. Users are recommended to handle items with care in order not to cause physical damages.
